It was 4 against 1. My deal: I NEVER have to scoop poop and I reserve the right to give her back. At least I get some version of female companionship in the family, and a great excuse to buy something pink (even if it is a dog collar). I really do feel something like attachment, but I could do without her side effects. There are a few things, however, I think are swell:
1 - We all go outside more
2 - We are slightly less addicted to electronics
3 - She helps me be more fully present
