After some heavy duty planning, Cole and Gavin began what they affectionately called, "The Hobo Experiment" - a test to see how long they could last outside with 10 bucks and a backpack full of whatever they could fit in it. After a bike ride to the local Allens with some serious budgeting to get the most grub for the cheapest price, they are just packing up in this photo to ride back home. Whoops - they forgot their backpacks and thus had to carry the grub back in sacks around their necks. Once home in the backyard, they lasted all of about one hour before they were hot and bored and came back in, calling it quits. The planning lasted 6 times longer than the actual experiment. Isn't summer great?
