A really great weekend trip for Mer n Steve to LA while the kids played up in Logan with Jenni's kids. Mer spent two days taking a BodyTalk matrix class while Steve went sailing and bike riding up the coast. We had some great meals together and a wacky adventure in our hotel - with creaky stinky rooms and clogged toilets and loud neighbors who were on the last leg of their marriage. Thankfully we wisened up and moved down the street to a little nicer place (for only $10 bucks more!). We knew we were ok when we saw cookies on the pillow :). The trip was a winner - we decided we should do it every winter to help inject some sunshine into our cold February lives :)
