Six days for Mer n Steve in Stowe, Vermont. Holy gorgeous. Our top ten (or 11 rather):
(1) Three trips down the rec path in Stowe on foot and bikes. Felt like we were smack dab in the middle of a painting:
(2) Amazingly yummy lunches at the Thompson Flour Bakery Shop in Stowe, and a dinner in the dark at the FoxFire Inn with breadsticks dripping in garlic and olive oil.
(3) A gondola ride and a drive up Mount Mansfield, the tallest peak in Vermont, and a scrumptious salmon lunch at the top.

(4) Watching endless hours of Alias episodes. Had enough for a lifetime; we're quitting now.
(5) A hike down to Bingham Falls at sunset:
(6) Making a quick getaway after discovering a mouse in pursuit in the hot tub.
(7) Eating donuts and making cider at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, and exploring the Ben&Jerry's ice cream factory:
(8) A walk around Waterbury Reservoir - glasslike water reflecting hundreds of thousands of autumn leaves, and a trip to the Von Trapp Family Lodge:

(9) Finding a kitchen towel that made us laugh 'til we cried...and laughing about it 40 times after that:
