Yep. I quit my fun, rewarding, shot-in-the-arm mediocre-paying job. I loved being an adult ed counselor, but life is ready to take me to new places and new faces. Things I'll miss the most: People who talk nicely and quietly and thank me for everything I've done (ie NOT my kids), the look on someone's face when they finally get that darn math problem, the satisfaction of seeing someone plow their way through their fears and past failures to create something better, my high-caliber co-workers, and all the leftover food from GED test days.
